It’s all in the name.

The headline on ESPN’s Olympic Zone captures not only the success of the Jamaican dubbed The World’s Fastest Man, but also highlights the success of the dude’s name – BOLT STRIKES AGAIN – and boy has he ever.

I think we can all learn a life lesson from Usain Bolt, move over Dr. Leo Marvin for just one second. People say he’s cocky, but I think he just kept it real. Every single competitor in the Olympics is probably freaked out of their mind right before their event. Bolt on the other hand, was care free. Bouncing around, smiling, and reveling in the moment he would never have again. Even as he crossed the finish line he kept the same mentality. Yeah, he could have focused and ran a little harder – but he decided to enjoy the moment and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. We could all take a few notes from Usain Bolt and learn to enjoy the moments we have and make a stand to do so.

Just like his name reflects his insane speed on the track, it also describes his energy to enjoy each moment we are given. Revel it in. Get a little bit more excited. Laugh and Scream with passion. Who’s going to argue with that?
